The AMPHIBIA SERIES is a collection of scientific illustrations and museum panels designed to communicate and educate about the distinctive mating behaviors of some of the world’s most extraordinary amphibian species.
To date, it includes eight species.
This series is part of the AMPHIBIA exhibition, a project created by Emanuele Biggi and Francesco Tomasinelli, aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of amphibians—a group of vertebrates particularly sensitive to environmental and climatic changes.
The first edition of the AMPHIBIA exhibition was hosted at the Giacomo Doria Natural History Museum in Genoa from November 25, 2023, to May 26, 2024, attracting over 16,000 visitors.
Future editions of the exhibition will be held in other Italian natural history museums.

- Rhinoderma darwinii
- Siphonops annulatus
- Breviceps adspersus
