“The book of Pikermi” is an indipendent publication about the Late Miocene fossil site of Pikermi, Greece.
Pikermi is on of the most important Late Miocene fossil sites, it showcases a well preserved and complete record of that epoch.
This publication was created to present an exhibition proposal to the Goulandris Natural History Museum of Athens.

“The River Pharaoh” is a booklet created to be selled with a limited edition fine art prints set.
The protagonist of the booklet and the fine art prints was Spinosaurus aegyptiacus, a well known dinosaur from Cretaceous North Africa, here named with the deserved moniker of “River Pharaoh”.
This publication presented information about this dinosaur, in particular about its ecology, its anatomy, the environment it lived in and the process that took me to reconstruct it following the latest scientific studies.

This publication was created for a wildlife drawing workshop that I held in the Museum of Ecology of Cesena (Italy) in 2022.

“Artifici Naturali” (literally “Natural Artifacts”) is a 2020 illustrated essay about the digital wildlife and naturalistic illustration.

In this book we take a deep dive into this discipline, exploring various cases, styles and uses of wildlife illustration.

This is 2023 a book edited by Ricca Editore (a publishing house specialized in wildlife field guides and natural science books).
For this book I’ve been commissioned a dinosaur illustration (Eubrontes/Kayentapus). The illustration is inserted in the pages dedicated to the “Lavini di Marco” site in Trentino Alto Adige (Italy).
Lavini di Marco is a site where there are dinosaur footprints dated to the Early Jurassic (around 200 million years ago).

One of them was the theropod Eubrontes/Kayentapus, a carnivore dinosaur that could have been similar to North American dinosaur Dilophosaurus.

In this video edited by PBS (Public Broadcasting Service) about Marsupial lion (Thylacoleo carnifex), an Australian marsupial Pleistocene predator, is included an illustration of this animal that I realized for Paleostock in 2021.

The volume includes a selection of paleoartworks by various artists who participated in the virtual exhibition “The Wonders of Paleontology,” organized in conjunction with the Congress of the Italian Paleontological Society and the Paleontologists in Progress (PaiP) young paleontologists working group. The exhibition aimed to promote and enhance paleoart in Italy, both within and beyond the academic realm.
