DEINONYCHUS

DEINONYCHUS ANTIRRHOPUS
Ancestral feathers series ep. 1

Montana, 112 Mya. A Deinonychus is patrolling the forest searching for some tracks that may lead to a prey.

Its dark and barred feather coat, helps Deinonychus to camouflage in the shady and humid swamp forests that covered Montana, Wyoming amd Utah during the Early Cretaceous.

Deinonychus was about the size of a modern Sumatran Tiger. If this kind of animals were still present today, they would definitely be some of the largest and deadliest land predators.
