THE WIZARD OF THE MOUNTAIN

While I was depicting this Himalayan Eagle-Owl (Bubo bubo hemachalana), sheltering from strong mountain winds in a cave, I felt like I was painting an old wise mountain man.

Eagle-Owls have a magical, magnetic stare, it’s impossible to not be bewitched by those big, piercing, orange eyes.

Definitely some deep mountain wizard vibes.
