IL GIPETO E I BAGNI DI FERRO
Il Gipeto (Gypaetus barbatus) รจ un uccello molto strano.
ร un avvoltoio ma il suo aspetto ricorda piรน quello di un’insolita grande aquila.
Anche le sue abitudini alimentari sono molto particolari, si nutre infatti quasi solo di ossa.
Ma la caratteristica che rende il gipeto uno dei rapaci piรน incredibili รจ che ha l’abitudine di tingersi le piume del petto concedendosi dei bagni di fango contenenti ocre rosse.
Il motivo di questo comportamento รจ ancora fonte di accesi dibattiti.
